** New DXCC activation of PJ4, Bonaire **
The end of a country - The Netherlands Antilles With a 99% certainty, many things are about to change for the people and all radio amateurs in the Netherlands Antilles. On October 10, 2010 the Netherlands Antilles will cease to exist as a country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the islands will emerge with several new statuses: * St. Maarten and Curaçao will become an independent country within the Kingdom and will be granted the same status that Aruba attained in 1986. * Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius (also
called BES islands) will be given the status of a public body (a kind of special municipality) in the Netherlands and will therefore fall directly under Dutch rule... So very soon, 2 DXCC entities will be disappearing, but 4 DXCC will come back! Press Release: 10-10-2010, Date: 11 August, 2010 via OPDX #972.1

It is with great pleasure that I welcome Pino, ZP4KFX to the EME community! He made the first ever 6m EME contact from ZP this afternoon when we completed a contact during his moonset. Pino
is running around 800w from a Harris Channel 2 TV amplifier module to a homebrew 10 element YU7EF yagi. He is horizon-only and has great ground gain. I first copied calls from him when his moon
was up around 30 degrees, and then I copied him again around 25 degrees elevation and we completed around at around 19 degrees. SOURCE: Lance, W7GJ via Magic Band EME

Nieuw afstandsrecord 10 GHz
- D44TAX/HB9AYX, D44TEF/HB9EOF, D44TOI/HB9BOI, D44TRD/HB9RHD, D44TXV/HB9RXV, D44TZN/HB9AZN
- CT (IM57OR): CT7/F1PYR, CT7/F6DPH, CT1HZE
- GN (IM52JH): CN2CT (F2CT)
- EA8 (IL28XQ): EA8/F5BUU, EA8/F1URI, EA8BFK
- CT3 (IM12NP): CT3/DG1GGH, CT3HF
- Back Office HB: HB9ACA
- Adviseur: HB9DUG
Tnx to Dominique HB9HLI
